Medical Insurance
If you are paying for your procedure with medical insurance, then you need to liaise closely with your insurance provider throughout the course of your treatment and let us know if there are any limitations applicable to your policy.
When you attend the hospital for treatment please ensure you bring the following;
- Medical Insurance Registration documents
- Completed claim form/proof of pre-authorisation by Medical Insurer.
Paying for Yourself
It may suit you to pay for your own treatment if you do not have private medical insurance or if your policy does not cover the treatment you need. Your self-pay option is - CARE DIRECT healthcare access without the wait!
Fairfield Care Direct offers speedy access to private medical care for those people who do not have medical insurance. We can give you a guaranteed price tailored to your individual treatment that includes all hospital costs, your Consultants and your anaesthetist fee, if applicable. This gives you peace of mind and ensures that your price will not change, no matter how complex your procedure.

Payment by cheque, cash or credit card must be made 5 working days before admission. Cheques to be made payable to Fairfield Hospital. Credit card payments can be made by telephone on 01744 746407 Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 hrs.
