Same Sex Declaration

Fairfield Independent Hospital is pleased to confirm that it is compliant with the Government's requirement to eliminate mixed sex accommodation, except where it is in the patient's overall best interest, or reflects their personal choice. We have the necessary facilities, resources and culture to ensure that when a patient is admitted to our Hospital they will not share the room where they sleep with a member of the opposite sex. All bathrooms are ensuite.

If our care should fall short of the required standard we will report it.

Physiotherapy

Long-term chronic pain or problems can be avoided - do you realise that most problems if treated early enough will respond and recover quickly?

Physiotherapists have a detailed knowledge of human anatomy and movement and can help you during illness or injury as well as offering preventative advice. Physiotherapy is of benefit in treating conditions such as:

  • Spinal pain
  • Arthritis and Osteoarthritis
  • Sports injuries
  • Repetitive Strain Injury
  • Neurological problems - e.g. stroke & multiple sclerosis
  • Dizziness
  • Incontinence
  • Chronic pain
  • Back pain
  • Whiplash

Because we realise that it is not always easy to attend during the day, we can even give you an appointment before or after work.

We offer a professional and personal physiotherapy service including treatment, rehabilitation and advice. Our treatments are evidenced based and are continuously updated. We also offer evening or early morning opportunities for those who may have difficulty attending during the day.
