Entropion (Eye Lid Turns Inwards) Treatments
Entropion occurs when an eyelid turns inwards towards the eye. This causes the eyelashes to rub against the front of the eye (the cornea).
Entropion repair surgery may be required to tighten the muscles around the eyelids.

All our Consultant Ophthalmologists are registered on the GMC Specialist Register and are members of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
During the consultation the Consultant will examine the cornea (front of the eye) as it may become damaged if Entropion is left untreated.
Particular attention is taken during the examination to confirm if a corneal ulcer has developed.
