Mr Matthew Kent is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery.
He qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1999 and after completing his junior doctor training in the Merseyside region, moved to Cambridge to complete his specialist training in Trauma and Orthopaedics. He has also visited specialist centres in Europe and North America to bring further skills and new techniques back to Liverpool.
He is now a Consultant in the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust. Here he is helping to expand research in the unit and is currently the lead for upper limb research. In addition he is Secretary to the North West Upper Limb Group, organizing regular educational meetings for the upper limb surgeons in the region.
