Mr Vito  Romano is a Consultant ophthalmology surgeon, Lead of Cataract Service, Deputy Director of Clinical Eye Research Centre at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, and has a honorary position at The Department of Eye and Vision Science, The University of Liverpool.

Mr Romano has specific expertise in managing diseases of the front of the eye: cornea and external eye diseases, cataract and refractive.

Mr Romano offers cataract surgery, yag laser, peripheral iridotomy and refractive cataract surgery using multifocal implants here at Fairfield Independent Hospital.

Mr Vito Romano has completed fellowships at both Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and The Royal Liverpool University Hospital.
