IT Systems and Networking Technician

37.5 hours per week

£18,428 per annum (more maybe available depending on experience)

As an IT Systems and Networking Technician, you will report to the Head of IT. You will be responsible for implementation and maintaining infrastructure elements as well as day-to-day support to meet the hospital’s present and future business needs for I.T. operations.

Besides your day-to-day activities, there will be plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in various projects and put forward ideas for development such as supporting cyber security audits, disaster recovery planning and server migrations.

At Fairfield Independent Hospital, the patient is at the heart of everything we do, you will provide first and second line support service that ensures all IT equipment and infrastructure is running to its optimum performance to ensure efficiency and patient safety.

Excellent working knowledge of IT hardware, current Microsoft operating systems in both desktop and server environments and Microsoft Office applications is essential. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills are crucial.

The successful candidate will also be required to participate in an On Call rota.
