About the role

Fairfield Independent Hospital is looking for an experienced, flexible and forward-thinking Theatre Practitioner to join our theatre team.

Working closely with the senior staff and multi-disciplinary team members, the post holder will take an active role to ensure the service delivers the highest standard of clinical care.

Our theatre teams work closely with the region’s leading consultants and are exposed to the latest innovative, evidence-based clinical techniques. You’ll have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of surgical procedures, across several specialities.

The successful candidates will have experience working in a multi-skilled role and will have exceptional communication skills. A dedicated and committed approach is essential, along with a focused and proactive attitude to the development of the team.

The post holder will need to be a registered Nurse or ODP. They must also be prepared to work across several specialities including Scrub, Anaesthetics, Recovery and Endoscopy, and be willing to undertake competencies in any of the above.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) but part-time will be considered. To include Saturday on rota and participation in an on-call rota.

The salary on offer is from £26,852 p.a. More may be available depending on experience.
