After Mr Khattak graduated from Peshawarin Pakistan, he completed his Urological training in Liverpool. Currently, he is one of the leading Urological surgeons in the region dealing with the major complex pelvic surgery and laparoscopic renal surgery. His main areas of interest are muscle invasive bladder cancer and laparoscopic renal surgery. Mr Khattak is a core member and lead for the local MDT and regional SMDT meetings for Urological cancer. At Whiston Hospital, he is the lead clinician for laparoscopic Urological surgery. He performs operative sessions and clinics at the Royal Liverpool & Broadgreen University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust for all his major pelvic cancer cases.
