Our Specialist Pain Management consultant, Dr Manohar Sharma will discuss with you if they feel any further diagnostic tests such as scans or X-Rays, and if there are any other treatment pathways to consider such as booking a consultation with a Consultant Neurosurgeon.
There are a variety of pains that can feel different, all depending on the location of the body, how you feel it and the way we experience pain changes from one person to the next.

There are two types of pain:
Acute pain is identified by injury and lasts up to three months, acute pain resolves as injury heals.
Chronic pain Is usually seen as a pain lasting three or more months, the pain often occurs even after the underlying cause of Chronic Pain is treated.
