Mr Jamie Barnes is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon .His NHS practice is based in the Merseyside Regional Plastic Surgery Unit at St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust where he specialises in microsurgical breast reconstruction. He also practices in the NHS at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where he provides complex, revisional and reconstructive breast surgery through the Linda McCartney Breast Unit. He is on the GMC Specialist register for Plastic Surgery and is a full member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (BAPRAS).
Mr Barnes graduated from The University of Manchester Medical School in 2009 and trained in Plastic Surgery in the North West of England.
He completed subspecialty fellowship training in microsurgical reconstruction of the breast and head and neck at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, London and a further fellowship in Facial, Breast and Body Aesthetic Surgery at the Wellington Hospital, London
