Mr Neil Buxton is a highly experienced Consultant Neurosurgeon offering private consultations at Fairfield Independent Hospital in St Helens, Merseyside. With over two decades of consultant-level expertise, Mr Buxton provides specialist care with a particular focus on complex spinal conditions.
Mr Buxton qualified in medicine from the University of Leeds in 1989 and undertook his neurosurgical training across Leeds, Stoke-on-Trent, and Nottingham. His training included extensive orthopaedic spinal surgery, equipping him with a broad and deep understanding of spinal pathologies. He later held consultant posts at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and The Walton Centre, where he developed and led services for hydrocephalus, syringomyelia, and Chiari malformations.
