Rosemary Bowen qualified from Liverpool School of Physiotherapy in 1984 and subsequently spent 20 years working for the NHS, predominantly for Wrightington Wigan and Leigh.

She joined the Physiotherapy department at Fairfield Independent Hospital in 2002. Since then she has continued to further her knowledge base and is committed to continuing her professional development by attending courses to ensure that the physiotherapy treatment provided, follows evidence based practise and that the most up to date techniques are used.

Rosemary enjoys treating the whole musculoskeletal system, but is particularly interested in shoulder dysfunction and postural low back and neck pain. She uses a manual approach to correct restrictions and tissue function and creates graded exercise programmes, treatments may also include joint mobilisation / manipulation, soft tissue massage, muscle strengthening, acupuncture or electrotherapy for best possible outcomes.
