Dr Aamir Memon is an experienced, GMC accredited dermatologist. He has worked as a consultant dermatologist at the department of Dermatology, Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust from 1995 until December 2016 for 22 years. During that time at Southport and Ormskirk NHS trust he was the clinical lead for Dermatology and also the skin cancer lead.
He has won the prestigious Hospital Doctor award in Dermatology in 2006. While working at the Southport and Ormskirk Hospital he also won the Pride Award – for being the “Inspirational role model”, he also won the “NHS Hero” award.
Dr. Memon is now working full time as a consultant dermatologist in the private sector; His special interests include all aspects of skin cancer, inflammatory skin diseases including Eczema, Psoriasis and Acne.
He believes in working with the patient as a team and aims to achieve a tailor made approach for each patient as we are all different and respond to different treatment options.
