Dr Mohammed is the Cardiology Clinical Director and Clinical Lead for Echocardiography and Cardiac Imaging at St Helens and Whiston hospitals and is a senior cardiologist at Fairfield Independent Hospital. He is also an Honorary Consultant in cardiac imaging at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital.
Dr Mohammed is an established senior consultant cardiologist with extensive experience in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. In addition to general cardiology, he is especially interested in cardiac imaging in providing accurate assessment for cardiac abnormalities. He is an active member of cardiac imaging professional societies.

Clinical Experience:
Dr Mohammed has extensive experience with cardiac conditions such as angina, heart attacks, heart failure, valve heart disease and palpitations including atrial fibrillation. He is also experienced with cardiac risk assessments prior to non-cardiac surgery, including ‘Healthy Heart’ checks up for cardiovascular disease screening and primary prevention advice.
Education & Training:
Dr Mohammed had his training both undergraduate and postgraduate at some of the best UK medical institutions. He studied Medicine at the University of Glasgow and completed the Mersey Deanery Training Programme in Cardiology and General Medicine. During his training, he took more focused subspecialty training in Echocardiography and cardiac imaging.
