Mr Nandapalan is a consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon with expertise in all aspects of ear, nose and throat problems, including voice disorders, thyroid disease, sinus surgery, rhinology, paediatric otolaryngology, otology, neurotology, head and neck surgery, head and neck pathology, laryngology and allergy problems.
Appointed as a substantive consultant in January 2000 to St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust. Trained in all aspects of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in the Merseyside training rotation.
Completed Skull base Fellowship in Zurich, Switzerland in 1999 and Neuro-otology fellowship in Copenhagan, Denmark in 1998.
Mr Nandapalan also offers Microsuction Clearance at Fairfield Independent Hospital. Microsuction clearance is a technique of cleaning the ear manually without the need for syringing. It is the safest and most effective method of removing ear wax.
