No GP referral is required for acupuncture. You can book an appointment with a specifically trained musculoskeletal physiotherapist for an in-depth initial assessment to see how acupuncture can help you.
After assessing your specific needs our specifically trained musculoskeletal physiotherapists may be able to advise you on a course of acupuncture treatment.

You will be offered an appointment at the earliest convenient date for you.
During your initial assessment you will be seen by a fully qualified musculoskeletal physiotherapists, who is specifically trained and has experience of diagnosing and offering expert advise for a range of conditions. You will be able to explain your medical history and any concerns you might have with the acupuncturist.
Your acupuncturist will discuss with you if they feel any further diagnostic tests such as scans or X-Rays, if there are any other treatment pathways to consider such as booking a consultation with a specialist.

Initial consultation guide price covers the cost of your initial appointment with your musculoskeletal physiotherapists. The consultation/assessment fee is due in full on the day of your musculoskeletal physiotherapists appointment.
Main Treatment guide price covers the costs of your Acupuncture treatment. This can vary depending on the severity of the condition and how many sessions you may require. The price provided is a typical acupuncture treatment pathway.
Post discharge care is included in your Acupuncture treatment. For example, if in the unlikely event you have any problems after your treatment you can contact us at anytime.
